Hello Loyal Readers!

As you know from the Bacon Blog last week, I'm working on a book about Michigan football. Titled Third and Long: Three Years with Rich Rodriguez and the Michigan Wolverines, it will be published by Farrar, Straus & Giroux and will be on shelves this fall.
That's the good news. The bad news is, that means I have to finish by February 1st! As one friend said, "Well, that's good. You'll be done soon!" No, I will be finished soon -- done or not! The deadline is a lot closer than the book is right now, so I'm working like mad to get this in as good a shape as I can before the bell rings.
So, as I result, I'm taking a break from just about everything I can until I finish. Sadly (for me, at least!) that means taking a break from the Bacon Blog, too.
But I'll be writing and recording the Bacon Blog again in just a few weeks. Somehow, I think you'll survive.
But thank you again for being such loyal readers. Our numbers are still climbing!
