LAST time I can claim the book is holding me up

June 10, 2011

Dear Loyal Readers,

Well, this is it: the LAST time I can claim the book is holding me up.  I will be turning it in, a huge stack of hacked up pages, on Monday in New York.  It will arrive in your book stores by October 11, 2011.

Thanks for your patience throughout this crazy process.  But oh, I see the light!  Very close!

Next time you hear from me, the book will be done, and -- I hope -- I will have recovered from all the damage letting out three years of pent up everything has done to me.  The town might take longer, however.  So, if you see me in New York on Monday, Ann Arbor mid-week, Lansing on Thursday or up north next weekend -- don't say I didn't warn you.

FREE AT LAST!  FREE AT LAST!  THANK GOD ALMIGHTY, I AM (almost) FREE AT LAST!

THANK YOU LOYAL READERS!

SEE YOU NEXT WEEK.

-John

    John,
Looking forward to the book. Just make sure the light you reference is not that of an oncoming train!

As long as I get the rationale that Bill Martin used for hiring Rich Rod in the first place, then I can get over this mess. I cannot wait to read this book!

I'll be watching for the flare you said you'd be sending to signal that you're done. Just watch where you point that thing.
